Suggest contents of Safety & Health Plan (a) the Preliminary Safety & Health Plan. 1. Description of project. Project description & programme details. Details of all design team members. Extent & location of existing records & Plans. Arrangement for communicating with designers, PSCS and others as appropriate. 2. client’s considerations & Management Requirements Structure & organisation. Safety objectives for the project & the arrangements for monitoring and review. Permits and authorisation requirements Emergency procedures Site rules & other restrictions on contractors, suppliers, etc. Activities on or adjacent to the site during the works Arrangements for liaison between parties Security arrangements. 3. Environmental Restrictions & Existing on-site Risks. (a) Safety hazards, including Boundaries & access including temporary access. Adjacent land uses Existing storage of hazardous material Location of existing services Ground conditions Existing structures – stability etc. (b) health hazards, including:- asbestos, including results of survey existing storage of hazardous materials contaminated land, including results of survey existing structures hazardous materials, health risks arising from Clients activities. 4. Significant design & Construction Hazards. Design assumptions & control measures Arrangements for co-ordinating ongoing design work & handling design changes. Information on significant safety & Health risks identified during design. Materials requiring particular precautions. |
