Course Details
Minimum No. Of Participants: - Course Description: The course will cover the main provisions of Health and Safety at work incorporating the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations. On Successful completion of this course delegates should have an updated understanding of the legal requirements of risk assessment and be able to identify hazards both generally and from an organizations perspective. Objectives of Course: On successful completion delegates should be able to: ➢ Understand relevant health and safety legislation / codes of practice / information and guidance on compliance. ➢ Have an understanding of legal duties and management responsibility. ➢ Understand list of duties and responsibilities of Employees, Clients, Designers, Contractors and Sub-Contractors. ➢ Have an understanding of Risk Assessment and Control, Active Monitoring and Re-Active Monitoring ➢ Be able to select workplace precautions, relative to the hazards and record results of risk assessments and carry out reviews. ➢ Reporting accidents and incidents and distinguish between accidents, incidents and near misses and statutory requirement for reporting and recording. Course Content: ➢ Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Construction Regulations 2001 & 2006 ➢ Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 ➢ Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Working at Heights) Regulations 2006 ➢ Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Control of Noise at Work) Regulations 2006 ➢ Active Monitoring ➢ Re-Active Monitoring ➢ Hazard Identification ➢ Review ➢ Questions & Answers ➢ Finish with Exam Who should attend this course: This course is for candidates whose certificate has expired (or due to expire). General Information: Certificate must not have expired any longer than 3 years. Any Pre-course Requirements? An IOSH Certificate in Managing Safety for Construction Manager Certification Details: Participants will be awarded an IOSH Certificate of Training on successful completion. |
