Course Details


Course Title: Advanced Scaffolding (Level 2)

Duration: 10 Days

Minimum No. Of Participants:    3
Maximum No. Of Participants:    9


Course Description:

The course is a 10 day course and is intended to assist candidates to reach the required skill level to successfully pass the five assessments involved in becoming a level two scaffolder.  

Objectives of Course:

On completion of the course candidates should:
➢    Be competent in the erection and dismantle of scaffolding to Level 2 standard.
Course Content:

➢    Erection & dismantling of independent tubular scaffolds, working to drawings
➢    Working with ladder and unit beams for bridging and cantilever work
➢    Erection & dismantling of a roof saddle scaffold.
➢    Erection & dismantle of a truss-out scaffold.
➢    Erection & dismantling of a tube and fitting tower.
➢    Erection & dismantling of a system type scaffold.
Who should attend this course:

Anyone who had a scaffolding Level 1 ticket and 1 years experience in Tube and Fitting Scaffolding.

General Information:

The course can be delivered at the Safety Solutions Ltd Training Centre in Dublin or on the client’s site as required.  

Any Pre-course Requirements?

Candidates must have a Basic Scaffolding (Level 1) CSCS tickets and at least 1 years experience working with tube and fitting scaffold and Kwick Stage scaffolding.
They must also possess a valid Safe Pass card.    Certification Details:

Successful candidates will receive a FÁS CSCS ticket and a  FETAC Certificate.
