Course Details
Minimum No. Of Participants: - Course Description: The course is 100% classroom based and, on completion, participants will be able to identify an unsafe scaffold and understand their responsibilities in maintaining a safe scaffold. Participants will receive a certificate of training on successful completion of the course and should be competent to sign the register for Scaffolding (WH1). Objectives of Course: On completion participants will be able to: ➢ Understand safe Erection and Dismantling procedures. ➢ Have an awareness of the different types and components of scaffolds and their uses. ➢ Understand Accident causation and Prevention. ➢ Understand the Relevant Legislation. Course Content: ➢ Safe Attitudes ➢ Duties of Employee ➢ Ties ➢ Toe Boards & Handrails ➢ Scaffold ➢ Bracing ➢ Foundations ➢ Overloading ➢ Ladders ➢ Lifting Equipment ➢ Ground Conditions ➢ Housekeeping Who should attend this course: This course is designed to meet the requirements of site foremen, gangers, supervisors, main contractors or other responsible personnel.
