Course Description:


Safety Solutions Ltd provides a series of highly specialised FAS C.S.C.S Assessments in the operation of Tower and Remote Controlled Self Erecting Cranes.
New Entrant participants will be issued Trainee Logbook and Trainee Card (Red in Colour) which they will hold for 6 month – then they will do the final assessment for the full licence.
Objectives of Course:
The aim of the course is to develop the participant’s skill and knowledge to safely operate cranes.
Course Content:
•    Legal Responsibilities of Operators
•    In-company Codes of Practice.
•    Principal Components of the Crane
•    Terminology
•    Stability of the Machine
•    Warning Devices
•    Operational and Maintenance Checks
•    Safe Loading and Capacity
•    Weight of Load Assessment
•    Operation With and Without Loads
•    Correct Slinging Techniques
•    Identification of Faulty Lifting Gear
Who should attend this course:
The courses are designed to meet the needs of Beginners drivers who do not have a certificate to operate crane.
General Information:
Crane course can be carried out on Safety Solutions Ltd premises or on the customer’s premises.

Any Pre-course Requirements?
•    Before taking part, participants are required to have a valid Safe Pass Ticket and have completed at least 3 months on-site experience.
•    Their own PPE.
•    A passport photo and PPS number.    Certification Details:
Participants will be awarded a FAS CSCS Certificate of Training on successful completion of this course.
